Corsham-based energy management and reduction specialist, SMARTech energy Ltd has announced its status as Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier for the second year running.
The Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier scheme provides independent validation and recognition of a supplier’s skills and services and is comprised of only suppliers with a significant track record in the design, installation and maintenance of energy efficient equipment.
Additionally, as a Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier, SMARTech energy is able to offer the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Fund initiative to its customers who fulfil the fund’s criteria and who are looking to reduce their energy consumption costs and cut carbon emissions. This means customers could receive a capital contribution of up to 15%, up to a maximum of £5,000 off an energy efficiency project cost.
Founder and MD of SMARTech energy, Stuart Pearce said “We’ve identified that one of the major barriers to an organisation reducing their energy consumption is the lack of capital investment”. Stuart continues “This scheme is of huge benefit to our customers as it enables us to help our customers secure funding and to move forward on energy saving projects”.
With significant demands and mounting pressure on organisations in both the public and private sectors to cut carbon emissions and reduce energy costs, the Carbon Trust’s Accredited Supplier scheme ensures that both the customer and the Carbon Trust can have confidence in the success of the project. Stuart added that “SMARTech energy are delighted to be actively participating with the Carbon Trust in achieving carbon reduction goals for businesses and organisations”.
