SMARTech energy’s Director Stuart Pearce visited the houses of Parliament to meet with Lord Redesdale to discuss a series of key subjects with regards to the energy market, which included:-
- SMARTech energy’s recent membership to the ema “Energy Managers Association”
- How we can become more involved in the ema with regards to the energy sector to enable us to offer the highest possible service to companies.
- SMARTech energy securing a place on the new Lead Assessors course to aid large companies from December 2014 onwards who will have to comply with the new ESOS “Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme”.
- To gain support to use European Funding schemes such as Growth Vouchers & Growth Accelerator to help SME businesses to start to look at and understand their energy consumption, plus what they can do to reduce this cost. Hopefully we will have some good news on this subject to be released at the EMEX “Energy Management Exhibition” in November 2014.
- Benefits of exhibiting at the EMEX and how this can help SMARTech energy get the great message out about the energy consultancy services we offer.
- Finally what is around the corner for the energy market?
What a great day was had which started off with a bit of a tour of the magnificent building, followed by our meeting and coffee on the Lords Terrace. The meeting has given us a good steer on what is possibly coming in the future.
Plus we found the time for a quick photo opportunity with Lord Redesdale (Centre), David iShack (left), Stuart Pearce (right).
SMARTech energy specialises in energy management & reduction by helping businesses to understand HOW, WHERE & WHEN they use their energy and how much is being wasted. We can then help your business to develop an energy management strategy and aim to save up to 33%. Once this is developed, we can facilitate the specification, supply & installation of the energy plan and use our energy monitoring solution to quantify the savings.
