Business Leader of the Year (SME) Finalist

Stuart Pearce, Managing Director and founder of Chippenham-based SMARTech energy Ltd, has today been announced as a finalist in the prestigious Business Leader of the Year (SME) category of the 2024 British Ex-Forces in Business Awards.

The coveted awards, now in their seventh year, celebrate and recognise ex-military personnel in the UK workforce, and promotes the achievements of veterans who are excelling in the business world.

British Army Career

A former soldier in the British Army, Stuart launched SMARTech energy in 2014. He has thrived on applying the skills gained from his military career to address the challenges of net-zero targets for commercial businesses and organisations across the UK.

One of the highest attended award ceremonies in Europe, this year’s event on 27th June will see 1,200 businesses, military leaders, and politicians descend on the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to honour and celebrate the winners.
