Stuart Pearce, Founder and MD of Corsham based SMARTech energy, has been named President of the Corsham Chamber of Commerce for the second year running.

Stuart, who has been a member of the Chamber for 3 years, said “I am delighted to take on the role of President for a second year and to continue to represent and support the diverse and growing business community we have in our town”.

2017/18 has been a year of growth for the Corsham Chamber.  With 57 members, the Chamber ran over 13 events and 2018/19 promises more initiatives to boost the local economy.

The recent AGM also welcomes new Vice President, Beverley Youdan from Wiltshire based BAY Coaching & Development, with the Chamber’s Executive Team members made up of Ben Leighton from BCR Associates, Rob Hart from Manage and Thrive Training, Bill Hall and Andrew Hall from the Martingate Centre, John Parker from John Parker Gallery and Martin Head from the Corsham Institute.

Stuart continues, “With the support of Beverley and the Corsham Chamber of Commerce Executive Team, we will be working hard to ensure that we raise a greater awareness of the Chamber to encourage new members and to become more proactive in the business community, further supporting new and existing businesses so that they can thrive in our local area.
