SMARTdrive for LCVs
Pre software update:
A Light commercial vehicle (LCV) Ford Transit 115bhp total fuel usage prior to install was 23.49 mpg – which equated to 597.79 gallons of fuel over a test period of 14,042 miles – cost £3,180.22.
Post software update:
For the 14,042 miles, the company used 538.01 gallons of fuel at a cost of £2,835.35.
The financial savings equated to £344.92 over the test period and recognised an MPG improvement of 26.10%

SMARTdrive for HGVs
Pre software update:
A ten tonne HGV total fuel usage prior to install was 10.09 mpg – which equated to 1,788.01 gallons of fuel over a test period of 18,041 miles – cost £9,512.20
Post software update:
For the 18,041 miles, the company used 1490.99 gallons of fuel at a cost of £7,932.08.
The financial savings equated to £1,580.13 over the test period and recognised a MPG improvement of 19.84%
